Midwestern Pueblo
I've changed the original out with this more recent shot. I like the new angle better. Now if I could just get the sky to cooperate I'll be all set.

Clematis Lattice
I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel here. I really need to get out and shoot some new stuff. I swore I wouldn't post any more flower pictures. Now look what I've done
This posting every day can be a bit like trying to feed a ravenous beast. I guess some days the beast eats better than others.

Di Vine
This is from a tree in my back yard. I just can't seem to leave this shot alone. I think it's the combination of textures that attract me. The first time was the second post on this blog and wasn't much more that a snap shot. The second time was a different take on it. I liked the depth of field and the way the subject fell of the left edge, but I wasn't satisfied with the composition. Part of the problem is this scene is about twelve feet off the ground and I've been shooting up at it. So this morning I got out the step ladder and went for a straighter shot. I went with this tight shot because it seemed to simplify a cluttered mess. Don't be surprised if I have another go at this down the road. (It might be nice with snow/frost on it.)

Pond with Barn Reprised
I feel I've made a little progress along the learning curve today. On the way home from work I go by this scene. A couple of weeks ago I stopped and shot it. I was disappointed in the results. Last night I stopped and had another go at it. I sat for twenty minutes waiting for some light to hit the barn. That and my improved Gimp skills have brought me a lot closer to what I was looking for.

Football Saturday.
I live about three blocks from U of M Stadium. I thought I'd post a few pics to share the mayhem.
This is the scene in front of my house. Not a parking spot left.
This woman is directing traffic to get cars out of her driveway.
Needless to say, we don't leave the house on Football Saturdays.
Got to go. The games on.
