Strike a Pose

This is a first. I have to be the worlds biggest chicken sh-t when it comes to walking up and talking to people on the street. No doubt that's why I've never posted any street portraits before. Last night I was walking by this bunch of guys, all my camera stuff hanging off my neck, when this one says “Hey, hey, what company, what company” and starts striking poses. I guess that's all the lead in I need. I'll post his buddy that wanted in on it this weekend. So it's true, even a blind squirrel can find an acorn once in a while.

I'm finding it strange to look at this photo. I must have spent two years of my life bent over this machine. I look at it and my back starts to ache. I look at the small crank on the compound at the top right and the muscles in my hand start to cramp. I enjoyed being a Tool Maker but I’m glad I’ve moved on.
